PERODUA LAUNCHES
NEW GENERATION KELISA WITH EVEN LOWER PRICES
Hot on the heels of
the recently introduced new look Kenari mini MPV, Perodua is pleased to announce
the launch of the New Generation Kelisa. The
new Kelisa super mini has had its previously cute, retro looks restyled to give
a more contemporary appearance without losing the charm of the original.
This exciting new development heralds the introduction of even lower
prices across the range. Kelisa
prices now start with an improved EX model at just £4,699 delivered*.
Improvements
to the Kelisa’s specification have been made throughout the range. All
three Kelisa models benefit from new styling, which includes a new look rear
aspect and new combined honeycomb design front grille and bumper.
The Kelisa EX entry level model, at the new
price of £4,699 delivered*, now has all new high grade
Olympus
upholstery in line with the more highly specified models in
the range. The option of metallic
paint is also now available on this model1.
The Kelisa GXi gains an improved variation of the new upholstery along
with protective side mouldings and
is now just £5,499 delivered*. The
Kelisa EZi automatic comes with the additional features mentioned above as well
as new colour-matched rear view mirrors and exterior door handles, for only £6,399
delivered**. New generation Kelisa
also benefits from an exciting new range of colours.
With
the growing increase in motoring costs, the Kelisa continues to be the
UK
’s most affordable car to own and run
over 3 years/60,000 miles, according to CAP, at just 14.1 pence per mile
including purchase price, running costs and depreciation.
The Kelisa also provides excellent fuel consumption with a combined
figure of 55.4 Mpg.
All
Perodua Kelisa models feature five doors, power steering, dual airbags, side
impact protection, seat belt pre-tensioners, engine immobiliser, rear door child
safety locks, folding rear seat backrest, rear wash/wipe, heated rear
windscreen, parcel shelf and floor mats all as standard.
The GXi and EZi models also include electric front windows, metallic
paint, central locking, colour co-ordinated bumpers/tailgate moulding and full
wheel trims. Kelisa EZi also
features a fully automatic transmission and electrically operated rear view
mirrors.
The
savings of up to £300 over the previous model and the new additions to
Kelisa’s already high specification simply reinforce its position as
Britain
’s best value car.
Perodua’s Managing Director, Tim Slaughter, says: “We
are delighted to be able to offer customers all the strengths of the original
Kelisa with the added bonus of a higher standard specification, exciting new
look and even lower prices”.
